Georgia-Pacific Files Post-Submission Letter in Asbestos Substantial Factor Dispute Before Texas Supreme Court

AUSTIN, Texas –– Georgia-Pacific has responded to a supplemental brief filed by the plaintiffs in a substantial factor dispute before Texas’ highest court, saying that the plaintiffs have incorrectly cited case law out of Virginia and a report issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

On Nov. 5, Georgia-Pacific wrote a post-submission letter to the Texas Supreme Court, saying that while it did not “intend to burden” the court with an additional round of briefing, the defendant would like to address two of the issues raised by the plaintiff.
