Colo. Court Denies Motion to Dismiss Filed by Seller of Asbestos Cement Pipes

DENVER –– A federal court in Colorado has denied a motion to dismiss filed by a supplier in an asbestos case involving exposure through cement pipes, ruling that the plaintiff had, at this stage of the litigation, provided enough evidence to pursue their claims against the defendant.

In the Sept. 16 ruling, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado said that the plaintiffs had sufficiently established claims under the Innocent Seller Statute and provided enough evidence to support allegations of civil conspiracy.
