PHILADELPHIA -- The judge overseeing the federal Asbestos Products Liability MDL has weighed in on whether a defendant can be held liable for asbestos in third-party products, concluding that a defendant is not responsible for a product it did not distribute or manufacture. Conner v. Alfa Laval Inc., et al., No. 09-67099; Prange v. Alfal Laval Inc., et al., No. 09-91848; Stone v. Alfa Laval, et al., No. 09-93726 (E.D. Pa.).
