Calif. Jurors Find for Special Electric Co. at Conclusion of Mesothelioma Trial

LOS ANGELES -- A California jury has reached a defense verdict in favor of Special Electric Co., rejecting claims that the defendant's product caused a former Johns-Manville employee to develop mesothelioma. Nunez, et al. v. Special Electric Co., et al., No. BC410790 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

The Los Angeles County Superior Court jury reached the verdict on Aug. 26. According to the verdict form, Special Electric was the lone remaining defendant at the time of the verdict.
