PHILADELPHIA -- An asbestos plaintiff has withdrawn her appeal of a Philadelphia trial court decision that said two defendants could not be held liable for asbestos that they did not supply themselves, sources told HarrisMartin. Stralo, et al. v. Yarway Corp., et al., No. 0187 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).

On Oct. 8, Mary Stralo filed a discontinuance of her appeal in the Pennsylvania Superior Court, sources said.

The plaintiff originally sought to appeal the June opinion of the Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County decision that awarded summary judgment to Yarway Corp. and Crane Co. In …
