SAN FRANCISCO -- A petition to review an underlying dispute relating to the component parts doctrine has been accepted by the high court, according to the online docket for the California Supreme Court. O'Neil v. Crane Co., et al., No. S177401 (Calif. Sup. Ct.).

The online register of actions says that the petition for review was granted on Dec. 23.

The underlying petition was filed by defendants who claim that a judgment entered in their favor was wrongfully reversed by the Second District Court of Appeal, who found that a trial court erred when finding that the valve and …
