LOS ANGELES -- A California jury has reached a defense verdict for two remaining defendants in an asbestos case, rejecting claims that the plaintiff was exposed to asbestos in the defendants' gaskets and packing. Prough, et al. v. Allis Chalmers Corp., et al., No. BC389423 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles Superior Court jury reached the verdict on Jan. 26 after a trial presided over by Judge Richardo Torres.
