TAMPA, Fla. - A Florida judge has ruled that the suicide warnings on labeling for Accutane are adequate under New York law, rejecting the wrongful death claim filed on behalf of a man who committed suicide after taking the acne drug. Snyder v. Hoffmann-La Roche Inc., et al., No. 07-1282 (M.D. Fla.).

Judge James S. Moody Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida ruled Oct. 30 that Accutane maker Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. is entitled to summary judgment on all claims contained in Joseph Snyder's complaint, as they hinged entirely on the plaintiff's inadequate warning allegation. …
