CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Five Wyoming residents have filed suit against Johnson & Johnson and Janssen Pharmaceutica seeking to certify a class action and to create a trust, funded by the defendants, to finance a medical monitoring program for former users of the drug Propulsid. Campbell, et al. v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. 01cv190J (D. Wyo.).

The Nov. 7 complaint alleges Johnson & Johnson and Janssen knew of the dangers associated with taking Propulsid in 1993, but continued to aggressively market the drug until it was pulled off the shelves in 2000 and failed to conduct adequate post-marketing testing.
