SUMMARY: The report identifies a case of leucocytopenia and thrombocytopenia associated with Seroquel treatment, despite prevailing medical data indicating that newer atypical antipsychotics do not cause adverse hematological side effects. The other notes that older, similar drugs can cause neutorpenia, which can progress to life-threatening complications if the treatment is not discontinued.
