SHERMAN, Texas - Plaintiffs in a case brought by the estate of a man who killed himself after taking Effexor have responded to a court order requiring them to provide additional information about an expert the court says has not fared well in similar cases challenging his credentials. Ackermann v. Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, No. 05-00084 (E.D. Texas).

Rozlyn Ackermann filed the response Oct. 25, claiming the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas has confused the success record of Dr. David Healy, who Ackermann says has emerged victorious in four of five Daubert challenges in federal courts to date.
