Pfizer Said it Supports Creation of a Viagra MDL

NEW YORK - Pfizer Inc. said in response to plaintiffs' motion to transfer pending Viagra cases that it supports the creation of an MDL but wants the cases transferred to a New York court where the company is headquartered. In re Viagra Products Liability Litigation. MDL Docket No. 1724. (JPML).

Pfizer said in its Sept. 27 memorandum in response to the moving plaintiffs' motion to transfer that it 'welcomes the opportunity to defend the visual safety of Viagra® in a single coordinated proceeding....'
