PHOENIX - An Arizona court declared a mistrial on Oct. 25 after the jury was unable to reach a decision in a woman's lawsuit against Novartis Consumer Health Inc. for injuries allegedly sustained from its Tavist-D cold medication. Kobar v. Novartis Consumer Health Inc., No. 2:01-cv-0156, (D. Ariz.).

Rose L. Kobar sued Novartis in the Superior Court of Arizona, Maricopa County, (No. CV2000-022698) in December 2000. Her case was transferred to the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona in January 2001.
