LOS ANGELES - Three plaintiffs who sued Dr. Phil last year for promoting a weight loss supplement they allege did not help them lose weight, are seeking class certification in their recently filed amended complaint. Joann Levine, et al. v. Dr. Philip C. McGraw, et al. No. BC312830 (Calif. Sup. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

Sources told HarrisMartin that a decision on certification is expected shortly.

Joann Levine, Steven Burda and Nancy Harmon sued Dr. Philip C. McGraw ('Dr. Phil') and CSA Nutraceuticals, on behalf of themselves and other similarly situated, on March 26, 2004, in the Los Angeles Superior Court. …
