NEW ORLEANS — A Louisiana federal judge has sanctioned a bellwether plaintiff in a Taxotere case for failing to disclose the name of a treating doctor and instructing one of her employers to withhold requested records.

In an Aug. 22 order, Judge Jane T. Milazzo of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana ordered the plaintiff to pay Sanofi’s costs incurred in obtaining the records and in litigating its motion for sanctions.

Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC and Sanofi US Services Inc. alleged that bellwether plaintiff Dr. Kelly Gahan, the first plaintiff to file a Taxotere hair loss lawsuit …
