HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania couple has sued Arthrex Inc. in federal court, alleging it failed to adequately warn consumers of the hazards associated with its Arthrex iBalance knee implant and did not perform adequate testing of the device before aggressively marketing it to surgeons.

In an Aug. 16 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the plaintiffs further alleges Arthrex failed to disclose information revealing the high early failure rate associated with the iBalance’s implantation.
