Fla. Federal Judge Selects Three Abilify MDL Cases for Trial

PENSACOLA, Fla. - A Florida federal judge has scheduled for trial three cases in which plaintiffs allege their use of Abilify caused them to engage in compulsive behaviors, including gambling.

In a March 13 order, Judge M. Casey Rodgers of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida explained that the cases in the first trial pool are not intended to serve as a true bellwether sample because the cases were not analyzed before being selected for trial, nor was the selection random.
