Bard Avaulta Transvaginal Mesh Case Removed from Active Docket Pending Possible Settlement

CHARLESTON, W. Va. — A West Virginia federal judge has removed a C.R. Bard Inc. Avaulta transvaginal mesh case from the court’s active docket on the eve of trial, explaining that counsel has notified him of a pending settlement.
In a Feb. 18 order, Judge Joseph R. Goodwin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia explained that the parties may submit an agreed order of dismissal within 60 days, otherwise dismissal will be without prejudice.
