CHICAGO — An Illinois federal judge has dismissed a class action complaint filed against the makers of the dietary supplement Anatabloc, ruling that the plaintiff failed to adequately plead his state-law claims of fraud, breach of warranty and unjust enrichment.

In a Jan. 13 order, Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois explained that she is not required to first decide whether the plaintiff has standing to pursue his claims under the laws of states other than Illinois because his individual claims were not sufficiently pled.
