SAN FRANCISCO — The judge presiding over California’s DePuy ASR hip implant docket has denied a defense motion to reconsider a Jan. 22 expedited trial date for a hip implant plaintiff who sought an early trial date because he believes he has terminal cancer.

San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard A. Kramer’s decision was memorialized in a Dec. 21 minute order which said it was based on his findings and reasons “as set forth in the record.”
