LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — An Arkansas recipient of a Stryker Orthopaedics (NYSE: SYK) Triathlon knee implant alleges in a recently filed lawsuit that the manufacturer knew at the time of sale the system was noisy and prone to wear but failed to warn the public of potential defects.

Pamela Morton filed her lawsuit Aug. 7 in the Pulaski County (Ark.) Circuit Court but Stryker and affiliated defendants removed it to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas Dec. 20, asserting complete diversity between plaintiff and defendants.
