GREENSBORO, N.C. - A North Carolina federal judge has refused to overturn a $1.3 million plaintiff's verdict in an Aredia/Zometa injury case, ruling that although reasonable minds could differ as to the conclusions to be drawn from the evidence, it was sufficient to support the jury's verdict. Fussman v. Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., No. 1:06-149 (M.D. N.C.).
