National Rifle Association Seeks Creation of MDL Docket for Growing Number of Cases Regarding its Operations

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– The National Rifle Association has filed a petition seeking the creation of a multidistrict litigation docket, citing the growing number of lawsuits regarding the organization’s governance, policies, procedures, its vendor relationships, and the manner in which it has expended its donations.

The Oct. 20 petition filed in the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation asks that the cases be sent to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
