Missouri Supreme Court Stays Upcoming Multi-Plaintiff Talcum Powder Trial After Defendants Raise Venue Challenges

ST. LOUIS –– The Missouri Supreme Court has sustained a writ of prohibition in an upcoming talcum powder ovarian cancer trial, granting defendants’ request to review a venue dispute in what was scheduled to be the next multi-plaintiff case to proceed to trial in the state.

The state high court sustained the petition in a one-page order issued Jan. 14, stating that the preliminary writ was ordered to issue returnable to Court en banc in 30 days.
