Suggestion of Death Filed in Florida Talcum Powder Ovarian Cancer Lawsuit

TAMPA, Fla. –– Plaintiffs asserting ovarian cancer talcum powder claims against Johnson & Johnson in Florida state court have filed a suggestion of death, according to recent court documents.

The suggestion of death of Jeanne Bertlaney was filed Nov. 27 in the Florida 7th Judicial Circuit Court for Volusia County.

Plaintiff Jeanne Bertlaney originally filed the claims, saying her use of the talcum powder products caused her to develop ovarian cancer. Bertlaney filed her claims in the 7th Judicial Circuit Court for Volusia County.
