Missouri Talcum Powder Plaintiff Whose $72 Million Verdict Was Tossed Re-Files Claims in MDL




ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri talcum powder plaintiff whose $72 million verdict was tossed on jurisdiction grounds has re-filed the case in the multidistrict litigation proceedings, according to a status report recently filed in the MDL.

According to the Nov. 26 status report filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, those asserting talcum powder claims on behalf of Jacqueline Fox re-filed the case into the MDL on Nov. 13.

The re-filing takes place months after Missouri’s highest appellate court refused to review the decision.
