Calif. Court Sets First Trial Setting in Coordinated Talcum Powder Docket for July 3




LOS ANGELES –– The judge overseeing California’s coordinated docket for talcum powder claims has scheduled the first trial to take place in the state for July 3, sources told HarrisMartin.

Judge Maren Nelson of the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County issued the order with the trial setting at the conclusion of a Jan. 30 hearing, sources added.

Judge Nelson’s order comes just a few weeks after she requested more information from the parties before committing to setting a trial date in what will be the first talcum powder case to proceed to trial in the state.
