Plaintiffs Ask Missouri Court to Expedite Ruling on Motion to Remand Before Case Gets ‘Subsumed’ by Talcum Powder MDL

ST. LOUIS –– Plaintiffs in a recently removed talcum powder lawsuit have urged the federal court to remand the case before it is “subsumed in an MDL proceeding,” according to recent documents.

The defendants removed the case to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on Nov. 2, saying that eight of the 84 plaintiffs are completely diverse from all three named defendants and only three of the plaintiffs are Missouri citizens.
