Talcum Powder Complaint Filed in South Dakota Says Products Caused Endometrial Uterine Cancer

SIOUX FALLS –– A talcum powder plaintiff has filed talcum powder claims on behalf of her deceased mother in South Dakota federal court, contending that the decedent developed endometrial uterine cancer as a result of using Johnson & Johnson’s products.

The complaint was filed on Sept. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota.

Plaintiff Carol Shoup asserted the claims on behalf of her mother, Theresa Cunningham; the decedent developed endometrial uterine cancer as a result of “regular and prolonged exposure” to talcum powder contained in Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower products, the plaintiff …
