NEW YORK — A group of Amazon fulfillment center workers are appealing a New York federal judge’s dismissal of their lawsuit accusing the e-commerce giant of failing to take adequate measures to protect them against contracting the COVID-19 virus.

According to a Nov. 24 filing, the plaintiffs have asked the 2nd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to review Judge Brian Cogan’s ruling that the claims should first be heard by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
