Neb. Federal Judge Stays Applied Underwriters Case Pending Settlement

NEW YORK — A Nebraska federal judge has stayed a dispute arising from Applied Underwriters Inc.’s “EquityComp” workers’ compensation program pursuant to the parties’ confidential settlement agreement.

Judge John M. Gerrard of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska stayed the action pursuant to the conditions set forth in the parties’ stipulation. The judge directed the court clerk to enter a dismissal papers deadline of May 3, 2021.
