ISO, AIR Seek Dismissal of Breach of Contract Claims Asserted by Mariah Re’s Liquidators

NEW YORK — ISO Services Inc., d/b/a Property Claim Service and AIR Worldwide Corp. seek dismissal of claims that they generated and relied upon a falsified loss report in determining reinsurance sums owed by Mariah Re Ltd. for severe storm losses.

In their Nov. 20 motion to dismiss filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, ISO and AIR contend that they acted in accordance with the terms of their agreements with Mariah.

In November 2010, Mariah entered into a reinsurance contract with American Family that covered severe storm losses incurred in a certain region. …
