JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - American Heritage Life Insurance Co. has asked a Florida federal judge to confirm a $3.5 million arbitration award issued in its favor in a dispute with Southwest Reinsure Inc. and its subsidiaries, asserting that the award is in accordance with the Federal Arbitration Act. American Heritage Life Insurance Co., et al. v. Southwest Reinsure Inc., et al., No. 10-1040 (M.D. Fla.).
