Covenant Counterclaims Against Arrowood for $157,182

HARTFORD, Conn. - A reinsurance program administrator has counterclaimed against Arrowood Indemnity Co. in Connecticut federal court, seeking $157,182 in alleged unpaid premiums. Arrowood Indemnity Co. v. The Covenant Group Inc., et al., No. 3:08-01392 (D. Conn.).

The counterclaims, filed Dec. 18 by The Covenant Group Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, are in response to Arrowood's lawsuit seeking reimbursement of $363,669 in premiums allegedly collected by Covenant but never remitted to Arrowood.
