NEW ORLEANS -- Defendants in a Louisiana benzene lawsuit have opposed a motion to compel, saying that it has produced documents relating to its power-washing procedures and is "diligently" working to provide subsequent information relating to other interrogatories served by the plaintiff. Tessitore, et al. v. Chevron Oronite Co., et al. No. 06-4126 (E.D. La.).

A hearing on the matter was scheduled for Dec. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
