Alabama High Court Denies Request for Oral Argument in SOL Dispute

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Alabama Supreme Court has denied a motion for oral argument in a statute of limitations dispute just one week after the plaintiff had filed a supplemental briefing notifying the court that the Georgia Court of Appeals will hold oral arguments in a separately filed case involving similar issues. Griffin v. Troy King, Alabama Attorney General, et al., No. 1061214 (Ala. Sup. Ct.).

On Nov. 14, Alabama's highest court declined to hear oral argument, but counsel for the plaintiff informed HarrisMartin that they intend to file a motion for reconsideration.
