KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Defendants in an upcoming benzene trial have asked the court to preclude plaintiff's reference to 'other persons,' saying that it cannot be established that other individuals' illnesses are the same as the plaintiff's alleged injuries or that they resulted from the same exposure and occurred under the same circumstances.
