Missouri Court Denies Writ on Statute of Limitations Issues

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri appellate court has denied a defense writ seeking review of a trial court's decision to deny a summary judgment motion based on statute of limitations in a wrongful death benzene case that was filed 23 years after the decedent's passing. BP Corp. North America Inc., et al. v. The Honorable Marco A. Roldan, 16th Judicial Circuit, No. WD 66161 (Mo. Ct. App., Western Dist.).

Judge Paul M. Spinden of the Missouri Court of Appeals denied the writ in a one-page order on Nov. 29.
