LOS ANGELES -- A benzene plaintiff has opposed a defense motion to compel further discovery responses, arguing that the information the defendants seek is contained in documents that the defendants refuse to give the plaintiffs. O'Neill v. Union Pacific Railroad Co., et al., No. BC319682 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

In the Oct. 19 opposition filed in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County, plaintiff Donald O'Neill contends that he has given full and complete responses. His trial was recently pushed back to Jan. 18.
