Monsanto Co. Files Brief Supporting Motion to Toss Roundup Plaintiff Expert’s Testimony

SAN FRANCISCO –– Monsanto Co. has filed a reply brief supporting its motion to toss the testimony of Dr. William R. Sawyer in a Roundup personal injury lawsuit, saying that the expert lacks the qualifications to conduct a differential diagnosis.

In a Jan. 10 brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Monsanto Co. urged the court to disregard a declaration filed in support of the plaintiffs’ opposition, saying it was “really [a] supplemental expert report.”
