Science Day in PFOA/PFOS MDL Docket Rescheduled for October




CHARLESTON, S.C. –– The Science Day in the PFOA and PFOS multidistrict litigation docket has been rescheduled for Oct. 4, according to a recent notice, having been rescheduled from its original September setting for weather-related issues.

In a Sept. 9 docket entry, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina stated that the Science Day is now scheduled for Oct. 4 at 9 a.m., “immediately following the October Monthly Status Conference.”

The docket entry came five days after the MDL Court cancelled the Science Day Hearing “due to weather conditions.” On Sept. 1, a mandatory evacuation was ordered …
