Benzene Complaint Pending in Colorado Federal Court Says Exposure Called Bladder Cancer

DENVER –– A recent benzene complaint filed in Colorado federal court accuses a number of companies of causing a decedent’s bladder cancer, saying that exposure to benzene and toluene caused him to develop his injuries.

In the Aug. 23 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado asserts cause of action for negligent design, negligent failure to warn, strict liability (design defect), and strict liability (failure to warn).

Lauri Lynch asserted the claims on behalf of her husband, Joseph Lynch, contending that he developed bladder cancer as a result of exposure to benzene-containing products.
