Former Guitar Repairman Files Complaint, Says Exposure to Benzene Caused ALL

SEATTLE –– A former guitar repairman developed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia as a result of exposure to benzene-containing products used during the course of his employment at a music shop, according to a recently filed complaint in Washington federal court.
The complaint was filed Dec. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
The plaintiffs asserted the claims on behalf of Albert Chris Hesterman, contending that he was exposed to chemicals and solvents, including those containing benzene, while working as a guitar repair technician at The Trading Musician in Seattle. As a result of the exposure, Hesterman …
