Benzene Defendant Moves to Dismiss MDS Claims, Says Court Doesn’t Have Jurisdiction Over Company

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –– A defendant named in a benzene complaint has moved to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction, arguing that it has not participated in printing activities in Alabama and lacks sufficient minimum contacts with the state.

In the Oct. 25 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, defendant Prisco Inc. said that has never “designed, produced or manufactured blanket washes, rubber rejuvenators, and tack reducers.”
