Roundup MDL Judge Requests Briefing on Relevance of EPA and IARC Conclusions About Glyphosate

SAN FRANCISCO – The judge overseeing the federal multidistrict litigation docket for Roundup personal injury claims has requested briefing discussing alleged flaws and/or biases in EPA or IARC methods, studies, reports, or conclusions that are relevant to general causation.

In the Jan. 25 pretrial order, District Judge Vince Chhabria of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California also asked the parties to further state what material is needed to “assess allegations about those flaws and/or biases.”

Judge Chhabria asked that the briefing be submitted no later than Feb. 8.
