Plaintiff Asserting Roundup Claims Move to Voluntarily Dismiss Suit; Texas Federal Court Grants Motion

EL PASO, Texas –– A plaintiff asserting claims relating to alleged exposure to glyphosate in Roundup has voluntarily dismissed the suit without prejudice with leave to re-file.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas entered an order dismissing the case on April 19.

Plaintiff Enrique Rubio argued that he was exposed to Roundup while working as an agricultural worker in Oregon, California and Texas between 1986 and 1995. His various duties included spraying fields, weeds and bugs with Roundup and other pesticides — sometimes as often as twice a week. Rubio was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma …
