Louisiana Federal Court Issues Scheduling Order in Benzene Case; Trial Set for Aug. 2015

NEW ORLEANS –– A Louisiana federal court has scheduled an Aug. 2015 trial date in a suit filed by a millwright who said his exposure to benzene caused him to develop Multiple Myeloma.

According to a scheduling order issued Oct. 30 by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the parties recently held a scheduling conference, during which it was further determined that all amendments to pleadings and third-party actions should be filed by Dec. 1.
