Puerto Rico Court Schedules Aug. 2014 Trial in Benzene Action




SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico –– Parties in a Puerto Rican benzene case are working towards an Aug. 2014 trial date, according to a recent entry on the federal court’s online docket.

According to a Nov. 15 minute entry, U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce J. McGiverin of the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico held a hearing in which he ordered the plaintiffs to serve expert reports by Dec. 16, and the defendants by Feb. 28.
