NEW ORLEANS –– A benzene plaintiff who recently prevailed over Valero on the issue of his knowledge of benzene-related hazards has opposed the defendant’s recent efforts to have the federal court review its decision.

In the Oct. 23 response, the plaintiffs urge the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana to stand by its order, saying that there is no question of fact as to the plaintiff’s knowledge of benzene hazards.
