PHILADELPHIA –– Defendants in a Pennsylvania benzene action have moved to preclude testimony of the plaintiff taken earlier this month, arguing that they were “severely prejudiced by their inability to properly and fully question the plaintiff to obtain information on matters of extreme importance to the development of their defenses.”

In the alternative, the defendants ask the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County in the Jan. 18 motion that the plaintiff reappear for additional questioning by defense counsel only.
